Tim Tebow where for art thou Tebow

I know there were many broken hearts when Tim Tebow was released from the Denver Broncos. Even more so when the NY Jets released him. I know there was horror in the hearts of many of us Tebow fans when he was signed to New England. I'm not a patriots fan but I would give in and watch if it meant a glimpse of my favorite quarterback.  There was excitement when he made the cut and sadness the next day at the announcement of his being cut. This left many asking where will Tebow go?  Well I was doing some reading today and found an interesting article. Gene Simmons of KISS fame says the LA Kiss of the arena football league are interested in signing Tim. My goodness. Yes!!!!  The can see his talent and marketability. Smart move Mr Simmons very smart move. You give us football and our Tebow and at the same time market arena football to the masses. As of right now there had been no comment from Tebow's camp. But if I were them I would jump at this offer for now.

NFL is underway!

Wow it's been awhile since I've posted here. I figured now is the best time to get moving again.
It's NFL season in the US and week one has gotten off to a rather amazing start. Thursday nights opener say the defeat of the reigning Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens by the Denver Broncos. I have to say that game made me rather giddy since I am not much of a Ravens fan.
Sunday's games proved equally exciting there were 3 safety's in the first few minutes of each opener game Sunday morning. That is something you just don't see everyday. It made for some interesting banter on the sports forums. Sadly the Steelers could not capitalize on their early safety and it leaves me to wonder is Big Ben really capable of leading this team still, or should some young blood be brought in to take his place.
The highlight of my evening can with watching the Dallas/Giants game. Yes I know they Giants lost, but here is an interesting little known fact. Everytime the Giants have faced and lost to Dallas in Dallas they have gone on to win the Superbowl that year. So hang on to your seats. If the Giants make it to the Super Bowl they will be playing on their home field. I know a lot of people are talking about the fact that for the first time in history two teams could quite possibly face one another on their home field for the Super Bowl. I'm not going to get all excited about that both the Jets and the Giant have a lot to prove before you will hear me shouting about a New York dominated Super Bowl.
The biggest disappointment for me would have to be the fact that I did not get my dose of Tebow. His presence will be missed and I am only hoping someone sees the talent that lies there and picks him up soon. There is always the CFL also remember some great NFL quarterbacks and a few running backs have come from our neighbors to the north.
Tonight is a Monday Night Doubleheader and I'm looking forward to it. I'm excited to see exactly what the new coaching system in Philadelphia has to offer and see if Vick is up for the challenge.
On a brighter note David Akers is still a kicking phenom and I was excited to see him doing what he does with the Lions I am predicting seeing some good stuff from this record breaking kicker this season.
Well have a good week. I'll try and update more often now that I remember how to get on here again.
